COMMISSIONS - What you need to know
*PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW BEFORE FILLING OUT THE FORM*
Thank you for considering Walsh Works Creations for your commission artwork needs. Before you fill out the form below to be added to the commission list, here are a few things we need to go over:
There is a flat commission fee of $100. This is for the communication and designing we will be doing before we make your artwork come to life. I will send several samples, and we will be communicating what your vision is and what you like and do not like in your samples. More information about this in the contract.
It takes two. I need your help and present communication when going over design ideas. The quicker we can come to a finalized decision, preferably within a week, the quicker I can start your project.
If we are unable to reach an agreement, or if you feel that my style does not align with your vision, you are under no obligation to proceed after the design phase. In such cases, you have the option to withdraw from the commission process. If you choose not to move forward, I will refund half of the commission fee cost. The money that is not refunded is to compensate for time spent on working on a drafts sent.
If you're seeking a ballpark figure for a commissioned piece, that will be answered once I go over your preference on size of wood piece, and the amount of detail client is wanting. From there we can discuss what size and details will fit into the clients budget in order to move on. Please note, custom orders are generally more expensive than original artwork pieces, so if you are wanting to compare pricing, keep this in mind.
This artwork is not done by a machine, it is done by me, Amber Walsh. I am only one person, and I only have 2 hands. I will work as quickly as possible to get your work done within a decent time frame, but patience is all that I ask from you when completing your artwork. There is likely a possibility I am working on multiple pieces at a time. I will give you a timeline of when I believe I will finish your piece, but I will be updating you along the way so you are always in the loop.
Depending on the volume of commission requests I receive, I maintain a waitlist with reserved spots for future commissions. If my commission slots are currently full when you request a commission, you may be added to the waitlist if spots are available. This is a first-come, first-served service; if the form is closed, that means I am out of spots for commissions and my waitlist is full. If the form is open, you will see at the top of the form if I am ready for new work, or if you are being added to a waitlist. I will confirm with you through email where you stand on the waitlist. If you want more information on my waitlist policy, please go to my Terms & Conditions to my Waitlist section .
If you have any questions regarding my commission process, please feel free to reach out and message me. I am open to any questions you may have. I want you to be confident in choosing me for your custom artwork and have no worries.
**PLEASE NOTE, FILLING OUT THIS FORM MEANS YOU ARE SERIOUSLY INQUIRING ABOUT GETTING A COMMISSIONED PIECE FROM ME. ONCE SUBMITTED, I WILL REACH OUT TO YOU THROUGH EMAIL**
